Summer has finally arrived in London, so before it quickly disappears, we thought we’d share some of the best outdoor gyms London has to offer.
1. Kensington Park, SE11
Tough Mudder around the corner? This outdoor gym might just be the perfect training ground. With over 10 stations including wall climbs and suspended planks this outdoor gym screams obstacle course training!
2. Victoria Park, E9
With a variety of workout stations all circled in by a dirt running track, this outdoor gym is perfect for the full body workout. Superset some sprints in there and you will be out of breath before you know it!
3. Battersea Park, SW11
This trim trail has 8 obstacles, ranging from the well known pull up bar through to the underrated balance beam.
A few laps of this and you’ll be burnt out!
4. Parliament Hill Fields, NW3
Conveniently located in Hampstead Heath, this gym provides a great opportunity to mix weights with endurance training. Get down to the pull up station and then up the notorious Hampstead Heath hills. A rest day might be in order after this workout!
5. Primrose Hill, NW1
Last but by no means least is our personal favourite. This outdoor gym has it all – from pull up bars to hill sprints topped off with the most incredible views of London. On those few and far between sunny days, this hidden gem really is one of the greatest workout spots – and it's all free too!
