Sunday 13th November was the first of the MissFits Nutrition Sweats and Shakes Series. We teamed up with Be:FIT London and put on a hugely successful morning bringing together like minded females who have a shared passion for fitness.
The event was at BLOK London in the heart of Hackney and the day started off with an awesome partner workout led by fitness bloggers @londonpaleogirl and @alt_healthy_becki. The workout began with a circuit consisting of squats, lunge jumps, mountain climbers and other high intense exercises. Then the girls entered the partner phase working together with one another. The partner training exercises mirrored Becki and Tessa’s focus on girls who #TrainTogetherGainTogether.
After the workout, everyone replenished with delicious MissFits Nutrition post workout shakes, Sambazon acai bowls and tons of other goodies. Some of the goodies included Pip & Nut, Moju Juices, Two Chicks, Sweet Freedom, Sukrin, Primal Foods, Ugly Drinks and Chi Coconut Water (to name a few).
The event closed with a meaningful Q & A with Tessa, Becki and MissFits Nutrition’s brand ambassador Chessie King. Lots of ideas were discussed including the importance of balance, listening to your body and not being embarrassed to share your fitness journey on social media. The reason the MissFits Sweats and Shakes events was set up was to bring together like minded females in a shared space, working out together, empower and inspire each other to be the best version of themselves.
